 Heroine Needed

Whatever purpose humankind

Was meant to serve upon this world,

As time goes by, harder to find,

With destruction that's been unfurled.

Heroes and saviors humans thought

Would come to the rescue of all,

Have just shown up to fail a lot.

It's time to make a judgement call

To end threat of humanity,

Causing its extinction to bring

The world back into harmony,

Humankind's beyond saving.

The heroine to restore worth,

Mother Nature will save her Earth.

 Disciplined to No End

I love my couch potato life.

The wife thinks I need disciplined.

If the couch pains me, thinks the wife,

Then my time on the couch would end.

I gave the wife's opinion thought,

And told her that I did agree.

Of course I hated pain a lot,

And best way to discipline me.

So I told the wife that I would

Continue on the couch remain

Till I was disciplined real good

By feeling lots and lots of pain.

So now I always yell loud, "Ouch,"

Whenever I am on the couch.

 In Love with Daisy

With Daisy I did fall in love.

So I'd play my banjo to ask

In music if there was chance of

Success with Daisy in my task

Of singing songs she should enjoy

Enough to maybe love me back.

But Daisy with me was so coy,

No hint if I was on right track

With her, but no hint I was wrong,

So I just kept up my pursuit

Of Daisy, singing my love song,

Hoping for her love absolute.

 Lovers Reunited

Under the bright moon in full stage,

I hear you call me in the night.

But I am entrapped in this cage,

Our being apart, just not right.

Because we are so much in love.

But they choose to keep us apart.

They being so ignorant of

Affairs our kind share of the heart.

Yes, you have picked up on my scent,

And soon they will meet fate most foul,
