 Slumber Number

This kitty wants a quiet snooze,

But has a mistress who thinks she

Can play piano, and pursues

A pounding, ever causing me

To awake bad from a good sleep.

So the challenge for me is how

To rest in peace, and yet still keep

The piano out of bounds now,

While I am in my slumber time.

So I lay down myself where best,

Strong clue to the mistress that I'm

Wanting her fingers too to rest.

So opportunity I seize,

Cat napping on piano keys.
