 Jack Finds Love

A Jack O'Lantern, I'm so shy.

No female pumpkins in the patch

Give me any attention. Why?

I think I be a real good catch.

So even with a big carved grin,

I am feeling so very down,

Needing to be recarved, and then

Showing instead a real big frown.

Then a miracle does occur.

Under the full moon, she nears me.

I have love at first sight for her,

And now a couple we do be.

It is no trick, but such a treat

That Jill O'Lantern I did meet.
