Sense Sonnet - Pumper

 Thanks Mama

When I was young I sold my soul

To the devil, thinking I had

Best chance then to achieve my goal

Of getting rich, made Mama sad,

And she stayed sad until she died.

There was less shame and guilt in me.

I got richer, and then defied

The devil, a pesterer be,

Cuz I had an ace up my sleeve,

Not scared of the devil no more.

In me, Mama did still believe,

More so when I lay at death's door.

Mama, liked in heaven a lot,

Did pull some strings and in I got.
