 Afford Retirement?

We are a married couple who

Are both planning to retire soon.

We're planning leisure stuff to do,

And feel this time is opportune.

Our family is happy for

Both of us and do wish us well.

We hope we can help them out more

With what they need, but who can tell

Whether we will have enough cash.

Right now we think we'll be okay.

But the economy could crash,

Maybe a depression one day.

We hope our budget fits our desire,

So later won't have to unretire.
