Sense Sonnet - Acher
Sylvia and Me
She wrote a poem about me,
Sylvia Plath, I knew her name.
Titled "Mirror," the poem did be.
As a poetess, she gained fame.
Personified I was, and so
The truth to her I always told,
As more and more to me she'd show,
Each time the two of us more old.
As years went by, the more she'd cry.
But then in her thirtieth year,
She showed no more, I knew truth why,
As others began to appear.
That sad day came, Sylvia died.
She had committed suicide.
