 For the Best

Puppy lost in the jungle, found

By a great wild cat who then had

Maternal instinct, so was bound,

Not let anything happen bad

To the puppy while in her care.

But the wild cat knew that no way

Would such puppy survive to share

Her prowess and skill hunting prey.

In the jungle the puppy would

Always be prey itself, and so

The wild cat chose, for puppy's good,

That from her, puppy needed go.

The great cat was meant to wild roam,

So brought puppy to human home.
