Sense Sonnet - Pumper

 Nature of Duality

In "Romeo and Juliet,"

Friar Laurence is outside at dawn,

Observing, and the stage is set

For good and bad, play relies on

Duality in nature of

Fact that all life in death does end,

That always there is hate with love.

Same flower can be foe or friend,

A poison or a medicine.

The Friar's soliloquy talks to

A night end and a day begin,

With each showing their feeling true.

As day comes up and night goes down,

The day does smile, the night does frown.
