 My Choice to Vote

When I was single I did not

Take the time and effort to vote.

Politicians, alike a lot,

Lie to get elected I note.

And once in office, only do

What keeps power and money more

In their pockets, that is them true.

So why bother with voting chore?

Then something happened, changed my mind,

And now I vote for balanced life.

I love her, but she's wrong, I find,

On all the issues, my dear wife.

I choose to vote today, no doubt,

To cancel the wife's wrong vote out.
