 My "Dog Days of Summer"

"Dog days of summer," cliched phrase

That I looked up history of,

July and August, real hot days,

Females' passions inflamed to love.

The wife has been quite cold of late,

As far as for me is concerned.

Air conditioner, broken fate

By me, with rising heat I yearned,

For the wife's passion to rise too.

But the wife found out that I had

Sabotaged our cool air, and true,

Her temperature rose, she was mad!

The wife is not happy with me.

Out in the dog house I now be.
