Sense Sonnet - Pumper

 Drifted In

She polar bear in arctic north,

I met a Mister Right and did

The mating thing, and then went forth

Over summer as nature bid

To eat a lot to fatten so,

Now in the fall it's time that I

Dig a cave in the ice and snow.

I do not need to wonder why.

I'll close myself up in my cave,

And over the winter remain,

To wait to see if nature gave

Me offspring in my snug domain.

If with new young I am supplied,

In spring we will go back outside.
