Moonstruck

Why the dinosaurs disappeared -
Here's one theory on that debate.
It goes with how the moon has steered
Away from Earth each year, not great
In distance per year, but in whole,
Over 85 million years,
The moon has been on quite a roll.
Back in dino's day this big sphere's
Earth orbit was just 20 feet
Over the ground. So as the moon
Revolved, it's rock and roll did meet
And crush the dinos - bodies strewn.

The dinos may come back some day,
Now that the moon has gone away.
