 I am a Child of God

A child of God born to this Earth,

I was told by my parents, and

Was taught to believe in such worth,

When old enough to understand.

My parents introduced me to

Jesus, the Son of God, who would

Be my sure friend and help me do

The will of God by living good.

As I grew to an adult, I

Made mistakes, and Jesus helped me

To seek God's forgiveness with my

Living as child of God I be.

With the help that Jesus does give,

This child of God does better live.
