When Walt Disney brought me to life,

He named me after goddess of

Wisdom, but not liked by Walt's wife.

So nicknamed Minnie, to be love

Of his long life, my Mickey Mouse.

He can be dumb, so I'm the voice

Of calm and reason 'round our house.

So for him, I've been a good choice.

Now in my nineties, I have had

A wonderful life in show biz,

Older and wiser, but so glad

For my life with Mickey, gee whiz!

As gal with wisdom be Walt's aim,

He gave "Minerva" my real name.
