 My Big Scene

One of thousands of extras, I

Am picked for this scene as the one

Being chased by the cowboy guy,

He on his horse and me all run.

The best an extra could have hoped.

A lariat loop swinging 'round,

Its purpose is that I get roped

As a stray maverick on the bound.

Of course I knew the scene calls for

Me getting caught and branded be.

So my scene stealing all the more

Brings out the action steer in me.

No speaking part, but I take pride

In my action scene in "Rawhide."
