Sense Sonnet - Acher

 Memory Mystery

My shrink tells me in therapy,

I hold a memory from my past,

But it remains a mystery,

That for some reason I have cast

Far down in my subconscious, deep.

Once in a while, I get a clue

That I dream of when I'm asleep.

But that's the only time I do

Feel that some hidden treasure is

Waiting for me to find someday.

And I am so curious, gee whiz,

So a detective's role I'll play.

Memory mystery in my mind,

I still need some more clues to find.
