 Still Failing

Evil, humans to humans do,

The Bible tells that God knows this,

But tells us to love, pure and true,

And God will reward with His bliss.

Ever on Earth, evil does dwell,

And often in disguises of

Just righteousness for bringing hell

To each and all who seek to love.

The pain and grief and torment brought

By evil to good living be

Proof that humanity is not

Fulfilling God's hoped destiny.

Humans to love, ever God's aim,

But evil's done, and in God's name.
