Sense Sonnet - Pumper

 Two Strangers Meet

At night, a busy street in town,

As she is walking up the street

Toward him, as he is walking down.

Then in the middle, the two meet.

Suddenly, rain begins to pour.

For shelter, pedestrians do run.

But she and he feel close rapport,

And stay on the street, one with one,

Feeling this is their time and place

For their first encounter be sure

So meaningful, as both embrace,

Blissfully share, both him and her.

Watchers may think they be insane,

Two strangers dancing in the rain.
