King Lion makes his monthly stop

To have his royal mane trimmed well,

At his favorite barber shop,

In barber Puss's chair to dwell.

Puss knows there's great reward or risk

Giving King Lion a haircut.

Any mistake, not just tsk tsk,

And certainly not just tut tut.

Rather Puss would feel teeth and claws

By King Lion if oops assessed.

But Puss never worries, because

As mane trimmer, Puss be the best.

Puss always gives a great mane clip,

Rewarded by generous tip.
