Sense Sonnet - Chilller
Toothfully
They got lucky, but humans boast
As I hang o'er a window view,
Swallowing ships along the coast,
As peekers see me seem to do.
Once, I put fear of death in all
Who came in range of my motion,
Then in stupidity or gall.
Dared to dare me in my ocean.
Then my shark host got caught and killed,
I taken as a souvenir.
But human shudders still instilled,
When for closer look, they come near.
Stories I'd tell would surely shock
If these Jaws decided to talk.
