 Unattainable Tree

Atop the highest mountain peak,

Ever above the clouds I be.

Only Taoist monks do seek

Me, a sacred red bonzai tree,

Believing that I do possess

Mystical energy which can,

By deserving humans, harness,

Into the spirit world to span.

Many a monk does try to climb

Thousands of feet into the air,

But fail each and every time,

And my secrets I never share.

Each Taoist monk, so short of breath,

Tries to reach me, but falls to death.
