Sense Sonnet - Pumper
Still Being Useful
I share this time and place with that
Are no longer needed and old,
Replaced in below habitat,
Wanted and new by the household.
From an era that's now begone,
I still keep busy with my work,
Still be of use and carry on
My duties, never one to shirk.
I lose a feather as I fly,
Serving my old friends, we all be.
Since I've but limited supply,
I'll stick that feather back in me.
This feather duster does as must,
This attic always has got dust.
