 A Welcome Stop

Back to Mexico we migrate,

From summer back to winter home.

Now in the month of August, late,

We keep an eye out as we roam

Across the blue and sunny sky.

The next stop that we plan to take

Has an abundant food supply

That we can stock up on and take

With us as we continue on.

We Monarch butterflies sure will

Be welcome guests to land upon

Our longtime friends for a refill.
