The feathered serpent god who is

Known for equinoctial fame,

Doing annunciation biz.

Each equinox, autumn and spring,

The setting sun announces my

Generosity in coming.

Display a shadow in light, I

Descend the northern staircase of

My pyramid, bridge, sky to earth,

To grace all the mere mortals' love,

Deeming me of such esteemed worth.

The tourists hunger to see me,

Each having paid a viewing fee.
