 Repentless

Uncle Pete was a sinner most

All of the years that he did live,

Told repent to the Holy Ghost,

Then Uncle Pete, God would forgive.

But Uncle Pete was blasphemous,

Would not let the Holy Ghost aid.

At such, Uncle Pete would just cuss,

And such a blasphemer he stayed.

When Uncle Pete hit his deathbed,

We tried to get him to repent.

But, "Go to hell" was all he said,

And so we guess that's where he went.

But Uncle Pete's death sure did turn

Us repenters, no yearn to burn.
