Sense Sonnet - Pumper
The White Delight
In early spring, winter still is
Mischievous enough for more snow
To blanket my back yard, gee whiz,
For me such a depressing show.
But temperature did rise enough
That all the snow away should melt.
Why then did my eyes see white stuff?
Some curiosity I felt.
But what I saw were snow drops and
Hyacinth and anemone
And snowbells, all a sight so grand,
Causing quick an uplift in me.
When snow melted, be left delight,
Bed of these blooms all colored white.
