 Ladder Matter

Dumb and Dumber sought to climb up

From bottom of cliff to the top,

So got themselves a ladder, yup,

And on the cliffside they did prop.

But, alas, the ladder was not

Tall enough, so what should they do?

Then, Smart Aleck came, and they sought

His help. Smart Aleck said he knew

The answer to their problem be

To have two ladders, not just one.

And Dumb and Dumber did agree,

But wondered how this could be done!

Smart Aleck sawed the ladder in half,

Then quickly left with a hearty laugh
