 First Wedded Argument

Hubby and I had just got wed,

Checked into a fancy hotel,

Honeymoon suite with waterbed.

So far married life going well,

Until we got to the suite door

Where Hubby insisted that he

Was obligated to tote o'er

The threshold his brand new bride, me.

I didn't want him to do that,

Cuz he lacked the strength, I did say.

The two of us had our first spat.

Finally, I let him have his way.

I was right, he was wrong, no doubt.

Honeymoon night his back was out.
