Sense Sonnet - Pumper

 Queen Bee

Being Queen Bee, no easy life.

Killed all competition that be.

Bunches of drones did call me wife.

All died happy "bee'ing with me.

"Eggs"perience is only mine.

Thousands thanks to me hatch alive.

On just royal jelly I do dine,

Keeps me healthy to run my hive.

But comes the time, few years or so,

When nature tells me my reign is

Over and I have got to go.

I'm old news in the Queen Bee biz.

The girls surround me, I know why,

They'll suffocate me till I die.
