Sense Sonnet - Chiller
Very Scary
A horror tale I have to tell,
Of a gothic nature I guess.
Was warned by my kind it was hell
To leave my home, but I did, yes.
From my home up high I went down
To try to make some friends anew
Who I'd encounter in the town.
But the townspeople acted, true,
As badly as warned by my kind.
With weapons, townsfolks attacked me.
I made escape, left such behind,
Lucky as a gargoyle could be.
I made it home and took my perch,
Safe from humans atop the church.
