Sense Sonnet - Acher
Teddy Bear Christmas
The old man now lived all alone,
No one to spend his Christmas with.
In aging, his sadness had grown,
Santa, for him now just a myth.
Once he thought Santa Claus was real,
When a teddy bear came to be
A Christmas gift making him feel
The joy of sharing company.
But as the years did come and go,
A bitter man from happy boy,
And loneliness he came to know,
Having no heart for any joy.
Then Santa found somehow, somewhere
The old man's childhood teddy bear.
