I'm a melon medium size,

Maybe up to ten inches long.

When ripened yellow, I'm a prize,

An when sliced, an aroma strong,

My flesh a sweet and fragrant scent.

And my taste a sugary sweet,

Popular at any event

Where the main purpose is to eat.

A good source of vitamin C

To keep a body in health well.

A famous name's given to me,

Cuz I'm oft served during noel.

A fav December fruit I be,

A Santa Claus melon is me.
