When I was single I did be

Irresponsibly juvenile.

My friends were worried about me,

Because of my reckless lifestyle.

I needed reason to change for

The better and act more adult.

I sought a soulmate more and more,

And found a gem as a result.

We dated for a while and then

A wedding happened one fine day.

My altered ego did begin,

As we walked in a loving way.

I'm better now and old friends know,
