Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Grab Grass - LP Zoo

With a few weeks of life behind,
Mom is letting this snow monkey
Check out myself what I might find
At the Lincoln Park Zoo to be.
Macaque Forest to be explored.
Some of it's dry, some of it's wet.
So far I am not getting bored.
There's so much I have not grabbed yet.
I'm grabbing onto stuff a lot,
Learning how to be more wholesome.
Mom tells me that is why I've got
Fingers and opposable thumb.

A snow monkey - no snow, alas!
So I'm content playing in grass.
