Peace Talk

The Pope says the world is beset
By such an atmosphere of war.
Why not end war and hate and let
There be true peace forevermore?
Of course there was a time Popes led
Armies all over to convert
To Catholics - much blood was shed.
But peace now the Pope does assert,
And Catholics will lead the way
For faith in love and not in hate.
Christ will return if all will pray,
If the world will cooperate.

If Catholic the whole world be,
Then war would be no more - surely!
