Sense Sonnet - Steamer

Vulgar Victory

The media in olden days
Censored anything thought profane
By censors who knew proper ways
To sanitize the human brain.
Expletives could be thought and said
In private but not public mode.
Then competition reared its head,
Cable, the Web there did explode
Profit hubs of indecency.
The youth are exposed to it all
Till old age and demented be,
And decency's still in downfall.

Vulgarity is on the sweep.
Soon all media will be "bleep."
