The name, Redskins, is racist tied.
The football team should change the name.
Pro and con arguments aside,
It gives D.C. just added shame.
Native Americans deserve
To be treated with due respect.
Too long, too many have the nerve
For insult name cause and effect
Of many peoples proud and great,
Who sacrificed the most o'er time.
D.C. should not have to debate
A rename that's not racist crime.
