Gray of CPR

I persuaded my Mom to go
To a senior facility.
Both of us were told and did know
If CPR needed to be,
The staff could not administer,
But would quickly call 9-1-1-
A collapse by Mom did occur.
CPR by staff was not done,
As paramedics were en route,
And pleading would the staff just do
Help in life saving pursuit.
A dilemma for staff - so true.

Mom died. The staff was called no good.
They followed rules. I understood.
