Sense Sonnet - Steamer

Paid to Shade

Jacqueline Kennedy - her life
Was livelihood for folks like me.
First as the president's glam wife,
And next as widow Kennedy.
In airports, restaurants, on the street,
I'd lurk to spring to snap my pix,
The pay for which was oh so sweet,
Worth my playing some dirty tricks.
Sometimes she'd have her kids with her.
I think John Junior took delight
In making "accidents" occur
To me, when I was in his sight.

And when she became Jackie O
I upped my stalk fees, doncha know!
