Hear No Evil

I heard a catfight taking place
Through the wall in the store next door.
Two gals fighting - in any case,
I made the choice then to ignore.
Turned out one of the gals got killed.
Her body discovered next day.
So I am getting ripped and grilled
For not getting involved some way.
The "somebody else will" excuse
That others use all of the time
Is not deemed okay for my use,
Since who but me could hear the crime?

To those who judge me - what the f?
