Ben Franklin out flying his kite
Had a newfangled sensor that,
When the lightning lit up the night,
Tracked the electricity at
The metal key that gave Ben fame,
For proving lightning was a stream
Of electrified air that came
To light up the sky like a dream.
Ben used the electricity
As empowerment of the mind,
Which even then turned out to be
Of the charge to make money kind.

Electricity usage then
Was sensor tracked and billed to Ben.
