Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Empress on a Roll

Winters in Russia are so fun,
Sliding down hills on blocks of ice.
But summertime - what can be done?
That thrill of speeding would be nice.
How about coasting down on wheels
In a chair thing rolling on tracks?
Oh, you should have heard my loud squeals.
My ministers had heart attacks,
As I rolled roaring down the hill,
Behind the palace. It was wild.
Every trip - a childlike thrill.
Rollercoasting was my brainchild.

When asked about the ride to rate,
I, Empress Catherine, yelled, "Great!"
