I was out shopping all day,
Maxing out all the credit cards.
Something in my head seemed to say
Buying a bunch meant best regards
From product makers, and I'll be
A consumer who may be broke,
But engaged emotionally
With what I buy, and that's no joke!
The Em Sense Frisco folks so said
To wear their Em band where I go
Shopping. I'll be out of my head -
A feely spending dynamo.

My hubby asked what I had done.
"The Em band made me do it, hon!"
