Sense Sonnet - Steamer

Do the Math

When he was just a kid in school,
Einstein had some trouble with some math.
Perhaps a better teaching tool
Is teach each kid and cease the wrath
Of schemes of tracking that just cost
More and more money down the drain,
While the minds of children are lost.
It is the kids who should complain.
If adults fail to educate
Each and every kid in class,
Then adults should suffer the fate -
You're outta here - You do not pass!

School kids are always guinea pigs
For the "smart" adult jags and jigs.
