Inspire

Aaron Fotheringham, a teen,
With spina bifida since birth,
A giant on the skate park scene,
Rolls his wheelchair for all it's worth.
First to perfect a back chair flip,
Eager in effort to compete,
He's on an inspiration trip,
Proving wheelchairs need not defeat.
Through broken bones and muscle sprains,
He keeps on giving it his best.
Life dishes out its aches and pains,
But Aaron seeks to find its zest.

I watch Aaron roll, and I see
My wheelchair can empower me.
