I See All Seas

The leatherback turtle - that's me.
So named because of my fine shell,
All dark and smooth and rubbery -
So says all those who touch and tell.
I can weigh up to a whole ton,
And growing to be 8 feet long.
The oceans - I've swam ev'ry one.
I go deep and cold 'cause I'm strong.
Jellyfish is my fav'rite meal.
Beaches are where I like to nest.
Hundreds of birthdays - no big deal
Keep on movin' - no time to rest.

I try to make me hard to find
By those goofballs called humankind.
