Sense Sonnet - Tickler

Turnover

At the lake, there were boats to rent,
Loaned out at an hourly rate.
One job for the ticket agent
Was to make sure no boats were late.
With megaphone, he hailed a boat,
"Attention number 99,"
"Your time is up to be afloat."
"Now, please pull to the docking line."
A boat boy asked how that could be.
"We've only got," the boat boy said,
"Boats up to number 83."
The agent sighed and shook his head.

He called out, "Number 66 -"
"Are you in a bit of a fix?"
