Sense Sonnet - Acher

Homeless Bound

Once when I had a family,
We shared a home and lives between.
But then I got caught up in me,
And ran away at seventeen.
At first, I liked it on my own,
Moving around from here to there,
Content with going it alone,
Never needing to really share.
Over the years, my habits cost.
My home and family were gone.
I was feeling lonely and lost,
No where to go, I wandered on.

I've got no home, no family -
Just emptiness inside of me.
