Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Use Age

Upon her eightieth birthday,
Helen Keller was asked to tell
How with one aging anyway,
How one could do it hoping well.
She gave the question some deep thought.
Then with a smile upon her face,
"The answers best that I have sought,"
She said, "Come with a childlike grace."
"Wonder - a fount of youth can be."
"No matter how wrinkled the skin,"
"I keep my curiosity"
"About the whole world I live in."

"Count your interests, not your years;"
"The burden of time disappears."
