Them

I remember well the first one,
At home, just sitting in my room.
Then they kept coming at a run.
I wasn't sure what to assume.
Nothing would make them go away.
Nobody else knew what to do.
I was interviewed on Today,
And chattered about on the View.
They'd given me celebrity.
How long would they keep going on?
Five weeks they had a hold of me.
And then one moment, they were gone.
